About this site

The importance of debunking fake information has never been more prevalent.

As the COVID19 pandemic worsens, so does the spread of mis- and disinformation. When I embarked on this project, COVID 19 was still confined to mainly China and Hong Kong. But the outbreak eventually became a pandemic, I realised the task of debunking COVID19 fakes is beyond the scope of what I can cope.

This project therefore aims to cite some examples of the damage fake information can cause how we can learn to fight the uphill battle of fake information. I am also introducing basic fact-checking tips, skills and resources for the general public to encourage more people to strengthen their critical thinking skills and tell what’s real or fake.

I hope I can, in some way, trigger my audience to think before sharing information. Or at least know how to check information before sharing them.
